Conrail - '1980 Repaint'
The 1970s called, they have some Harvest Gold & Avocado Green appliances that need to be moved.
In the late 1970s and early 80s, Conrail began to repaint some of the Penn Central X77 boxcars. Initially they retained their same road numbers as they were on the PC but in the late 80s some were renumbered into the 216000 series. Many cars were not renumbered and lasted well past the merger breakup onto CSX retaining their orginal numbers.
