About the Far-Mar-Co. '1975 Repaint' Paint Scheme:

In the 1970s, Far-Mar-Co was the largest grain cooperative in the United States and was owned by 250,000 farmers. Its members were located across multiple states such as Colorado, Iowa, Missouri, Nebraska, Oklahoma, South Dakota, Texas and Wyoming. This batch of 3 cars were part of a group of repaints from former Equity Union Grain Company cars and were repainted in 1975 into the Far-Mar-Co handsome orange scheme. These cars differentiate themselves from the 1972 repaints by having a two panel lube stencils and the inclusion of a Outlet Gate instruction label. Like the 1972 versions, these cars had a "NEW 6-65" stencil applied to the car despite being repainted in 1975.
