TrainLife Exclusive ExactRail HO Scale: Trinity 6275 Boxcar
Canadian National (DWC) - 'Nasty' Graffiti
About the Paint Scheme:
In the early 2000s, Canadian National acquired a group of 100 Trinity built 6235 cubic foot boxcars from the Wheeling & Lake Erie. CN added DWC reporting marks from their subsidiary, the Duluth, Winnipeg & Pacific Ry. Car 409597, received some additional decoration on the left side of the car courtesy of an overzealous vandal; A Santa Fe inspired design featuring "Chico" on a pig, pointing at the "nasty" circle cross logo.
*We do not condone vandalism. Graffiti is illegal, and not cool. We would love to live in a world where all artists had places to express themselves without defacing the property of others. That said; we are modelers of real trains, and so we model reality, warts and all.
History:
The Trinity 6275 Boxcar has been one of ExactRail's most popular freight cars. This boxcar has a very limited paint schemes list, but there are many 'very-close' freight cars with more varied paint schemes that we are excited to have worked with ExactRail to manufacture. These 'very-close' or brothers from other mothers freight cars are built by companies such as Johnstown America, Gunderson & National Steel Car. Some were built by Trinity but have a slightly different sized door than the 12 footer we have, or have exterior post placement variations.
