About the Minnesota, Dakota and Western '1993 Repaint' Scheme:

In our opinion, the East Camden and Highland orange and white scheme is one the most iconic to come out of the 1970s and IPD era on a boxcar. The era was known for bright paint schemes but these always managed to stand out. The EACH received multiple deliveries of the FMC 5327 Boxcars with 12' plug doors. This represents cars that were delivered in the larger but slightly later delivery of 200 cars built in October 1979, equipment series 2501-2700.
