In 2015, Ameren Missouri repainted a single car from its fleet of 3463 coal hoppers into a unique paint scheme to honor military veterans. This car bears a patriotic paint scheme with each emblem of America’s military branches. In addition to these emblems, Ameren commemorates the Vietnam War with its 50th anniversary emblem. ExactRail, in cooperation with Ameren, is proud to offer a limited release replica of this important paint scheme! Moreover, we applaud Ameren’s social consciousness as it honors America’s veterans.
Ameren is a Fortune 500 company that powers the quality of life for 900,000 natural gas customers and 2.4 million electric customers. The name ‘Ameren’ is a combination of the words American and Energy. Ameren is the largest electric power provider in Missouri, and in terms of total customers, the third largest natural gas distributor in Illinois.
UCEX 2015 “Military Veteran” hopper was developed in partnership with the Ameren Corporation. We estimate that this model features the most complex artwork ever applied to an HO Scale freight car. The artwork files for our model are the actual lettering files and color swatches for the Ameren prototype. But more than being a highly accurate replica, this model honors America’s veterans.

I have been checking every day since I heard another run of the “On Track for the Cure” AutoFlood II car was going to be available. I missed the last run and needed one because of my wife having breast cancer a few years ago. It looks great in the ads so I’m sure the model will be fantastic.
