HO Scale: Trinity 6275 Boxcar - Canadian National '2003 As-Delivered'

TrainLife Exclusive ExactRail HO Scale: Trinity 6275 Boxcar

Canadian National • '2003 As-Delivered'

About the Paint Scheme:

Canadian National took delivery of a batch of about 150 cars from Trinity in late 2003 with a volume of 6235 cubic feet. Delivered with CNA reporting marks, this batch was numbered from 405596 to 405749. They would then recieve another batch of cars in mid 2004. While these were built by Trinity, the prototype car has a few slight differences from the model, such as a 10 foot door as well as 2 fewer exterior posts on the car body. As per the prototype, this car has CANADIEN on the right side of the car and CANADIAN on the left side.

History:

The Trinity 6275 Boxcar has been one of ExactRail's most popular freight cars. This boxcar has a very limited paint schemes list, but there are many 'very-close' freight cars with more varied paint schemes that we are excited to have worked with ExactRail to manufacture. These 'very-close' or brothers from other mothers freight cars are built by companies such as Johnstown America, Gunderson & National Steel Car. Some were built by Trinity but have a slightly different sized door than the 12 footer we have, or have exterior post placement variations.
