The Evans 5277 Boxcar in HO & N scale!
Returning from an extended 10 year vacation on a shelf. The Evans 5277 Boxcar in HO & N scale is returning in 6 all new paint schemes!
The Evans 5277 Boxcars were built during the IPD era boxcar boom in the 1970s. Featuring many modern upgrades such as box-corrugated, non-terminating ends & Stanray X-panel overhanging roof. These cars can still be seen riding the rails today. Many of these cars have changed hands multiple times during their life, allowing us to continue to offer many new schemes in the years to come.

Impressed that two of the paint schemes are modern, with reflecting strips on the car sides. But the IPD’s are over 40 years old, and coming to an end of their useful life, even when rebuilt. Of course, today’s box cars also sport extensive graffiti, so the appearance is not totally realistic. Really nice models, though.

First thing; I’m thrilled that your exellent team is doing the Evans 5277 series Boxcar! Especially the ONR!
Problem: These Boxcars were all equipped with cushion drawbars!
Would EXACTRAIL, be will willing to change this to the correct spec’s.
