ExactRail names Chris Brimley new Vice President of Product
We are pleased to announce that ExactRail has named Chris Brimley it's new V.P. of Product. Chris has been with ExactRail for 7 years and brings with him a wealth of knowledge and modeling ability. As a lifelong model railroader with a passion for detail, Chris is thrilled to have the opportunity to move ExactRail forward and has already begun work on new projects. Expect to hear more from Chris in the coming weeks and be sure to visit the ExactRail booth at TrainFest to say hello.
ExactRail has many new products in the pipeline that will be arriving soon. Much of this is because of groundwork that Blaine Hadfield our former V.P. of product has laid. Blaine will be missed and we are grateful for the bar that he set for ExactRail and for the industry as a whole.
Blaine has been the voice of ExactRail for many years and we asked him to write one final blog post before he left (please read it below).
Blaine Hadfield's Final Blog post:
Landing the Train (part 1 of 1)
I have grown accustom to writing pedantic, multi-part blog series--but for this entry, I will embrace brevity. I will write a short blog post...
A short, final blog post.
Last week, I tendered my resignation to ExactRail; my last day is October 20th, 2017. I am not sure when this will publish, but when it does, I will have likely exited the E-train.
I am proud to have made a contribution to this industry. I believe that we participate in the finest hobby, and I have tried to speak to how this is the case in my blogs. I have also tried to create products that are a match for a hobby so rich and dynamic. There are few like it.
As for me, I am off to meet new opportunities. ExactRail will remain in good hands, and to each you, my genuine thanks.
My very best,
Blaine Hadfield

Blaine, I was always glad to be able to work with you for various Rock Island freight car projects from Exact Rail. You were fun to talk with in person, and very knowledgeable about freight cars. Your concerns over quality and accuracy for Exact Rail models were impressive. I hope to stay in communication with you in the future, and hope that some of the future freight car projects I took part in with you will still come to pass in the not to distant future from ER.

Not intended as a blog post.
I had provided Blaine with pictures of a couple of Conrail X77 boxcars. Are that project still active or has it died? Thanks for all the great products.
