January 19, 2022 Product Update
We have understandably been receiving many inquires regarding the release of the Bethlehem 3483 Hoppers that we had estimated would be released this month. Unfortunately... there are delays. Please read below for updated information regarding all announced upcoming products.
Currently we are not taking pre-orders on any upcoming releases and will begin accepting orders when the product has arrived and been officially released.
HO Scale Bethlehem 3483 Hoppers - Available February 2022
In my last update on December 15, I said that the ship had docked. According to the ship tracker that I was using it had. However it sat for more than 2 weeks before it was finally started to be unloaded. Due to this delay, the product is arriving later than estimated. The container has now left the port of Los Angeles and is now at yard waiting to be trucked to us. It will arrive at our door early next week.
While these will be arriving prior to the Railroad Hobby Show in Springfield, MA (01/29-01/30), we wont have them for sale at the show. Our product and booth items are shipping tomorrow and the product obviously wont be here in time to ship. My apologies for those that were hopping that we would have them.
So when will they be released? Due to part of our staff traveling to attend the show, we will be unable to release and start shipping until we have returned home. Look for the release announcement during the first week of February.

HO Scale Trinity Trincool 64' Phase III Reefer - Available March 2022
This production has left the factory but is currently not on the water yet. We had originally planned for a February release. It is currently scheduled to be loaded on the 25th of January with an ETA in Los Angeles on the 14th of February. It is usually another few weeks before it arrives at our door. As of writing this, a March release feels safe.

HO Scale Depressed Center Flat Car - Available April 2022
These have been shipped along with the above reefers. While the product will arrive with the reefers, we will hold them for the following month release which should now be April 2022. These will be available to order exclusively through TrainLife.com this coming Spring.

Any N scale on the way, it’s been a loooong time since we had a new model and that’s a shame. Use N scalers are out here.

I have bought some years back 6 big wood chip cars and also 6 of those beautiful refrigerators cars from your train store and they are great .
Now i see you have posted coil cars and they do look great .so i am wondering do the lids on top come off so i can put 4 Aluminum coils in and put the lids back on .I have been asking at hobby shops but they don’t seem to know i am just wondering when i was an engineer for C N rail i love to watch them lift off those large lids Thank you..

Hi Chris. I just reread the New Products PR in the December 2021 issue of RMC, and the reference made to the GSI 53’6” flat with bulkheads, etc. The article mentions that tooling was expected to begin in the coming months. Given that this is information or commentary is about a year old, can you comment any further on its progress in terms of what might be a realistic date or time frame for its release. As you can imagine, my interest is focused on the IC family for both a bulkhead and a basic flatcar. Both would be wonderful. ( I’m smiling as I write ). Lonnie B
